Dragon, Gavin, presents Prize

The Coláiste was well represented at the Athenry Enterprise Town event last Saturday. Indeed, 5th Year student and winner of BT Young Scientist overall category award, Ciara Ní Ghríofa was presented with an Amazon Tablet by none less than Dragon, Gavin Duffy, who commended Ciara on developing an app to assist children with autism. Buíochas leis na daltaí a thug tacaíocht ar an lá!

Madrid Turas Idirbhliana

Caint ar spraoi agus spórt! Bhí ceithre lá den scoth ag rang na hIdirbhliana i Madrid agus go deimhin ag a gcuid múinteoirí, Bairbre, Donncha agus Príomhoide Brian.

Bhí neart le déanamh gach lá agus in ainneoin na haimsire (báisteach sa Spáinn!!) bhain chuile dhuine idir taitneamh agus tairbhe as an turas. Ba mhór an chúis bróid dúinn uilig é nuair a ghabh an treoraí, Nico, slán agus buíochas linn agus é ag rá go raibh daltaí an Choláiste ar an ngrúpa ab fhearr, ba bhéasaí, ba dhearfaí a bhí aige riamh!!

What a tribute it was when our guide, Nico, complemented the Coláiste students saying that they were polite, well-mannered and better than any group he ever encountered!!
