Re: Substance Misuse Awareness/Information Evenings for Parents
Coláiste an Eachréidh’s Parents’ Council have invited The Western Regional Drugs Task Force (WRDTF) in conjunction with the Gardai, HSE and Western Region Social Personal and Health Education (SPHE) Support Service to present an evening talk at the COLÁISTE to be next MONDAY 24th at 7.30 PM.
It promises to be a very informative session and your attendance and support will be greatly appreciated.
During the evening, The Gardai will present the current situation with drugs in the region, the legal situation and what to look out for.
The WRDTF Education Worker will look at communicating with your children about drugs, and will outline the three-session drugs education programme that will follow later.
The HSE Drug Service will inform the parents of their services in the area
The role of SPHE as regards alcohol and drugs will also be covered.
