Brendan takes Silver at World WAKO Championships

Bhí mí-ádh ar Bhrendán sa mbabhta ceannais agus é ag tabhairt aghaidh ar Rúiseach – ag deireadh an troda ní raibh tada eatarthu, iad ar comhscór, b’éigean don triúr réiteoir vóta a chaitheamh agus níorbh é Brendán a roghnaíodh sa ‘split decision’. E sin ráite, níor chaill sé babhta ar bith agus is sar-éacht é bonn airgid a thabhairt abhaile ó chomórtas domhanda!

Brendan reached the final of the U19 division where he finished unbeaten, he shared the points with his Russian opponent – the eventual winner decided by a split decision call from the 3 man referee panel.
