Junior Cert. Iontach

Tá Coláiste an Eachréidh thar a bheith bródúil as na daltaí a rinne an Teastas Sóisearach i mbliana. Níl aon amhras ach go bhfuil údar ag an scoil a bheith bródúil óir is cosúil gur éirigh le gach dalta a chumas a léiriú i gceart sna torthaí a fógraíodh 12 Meán Fómhair 2018.

Mar a tharlaíonn sé, glacadh le naoi as deich páipéar ag ardleibheál sna hábhair sa Teastas Sóisearach sa choláiste, rud atá go mór ar an mheán náisiúnta. Ní amháin sin ach, ag breathnú ar na torthaí seo, feictear go raibh sé as gach deich Grád ‘A’ nó ‘B’. Sin ráite, bhí Grád ‘A’ amháin i ngach cúigear. Torthaí den scoth gan dabht.

Is iomaí dalta a fuair meascán de grádanna ‘A’ & ‘B’ agus dalta amháin ina measc a fuair naoi ngrád ‘A’ agus grád ‘B’ amháin. Comhghairdeas leo ar fad!

Ar an ábhar go raibh cúis cheiliúrtha acu, ghlac cuid acu páirt i malartú cuairte ar thuras scoile chun na Gearmáine agus chuaigh an dream ar fad eile ar thuras scoile 13 Meán Fómhair go Tigh Neatha ag lámhach millíní péinte is ag cairtíneacht. Ba mhór an spraoi is spórt a bhí acu is é tuillte go maith ag gach uile duine acu. Is cosúil go mbeidh idirbhliain iontach os a gcomhair.

Coláiste an Eachréidh are very proud of their students that completed their Junior Cert. this year. Of course, they have reason to be proud as it seems that each pupil really showed their potential in the results that were announced 12th Sept.2018.

As it happens, nine in ten papers were taken at higher level at Junior Cert. in the coláiste, which is well above the national average. Not only that, but six in ten results were ‘A’ or ‘B’ grade. In fact, one in five resulted in an ‘A’ grade. Excellent results without doubt.

Many a pupil received a multiple of ‘A’ and ‘B’ grades and one pupil received nine grade ‘A’s  and a ‘B’ in his results. Congratulations to all.

Since the pupils all had reason to be celebrating, some headed off on a school exchange with a group on a excursion to Germany while all the others headed off on a school trip 13/9/18 to Tynagh paint-balling and karting. They had great fun and it was well deserved for each and every one of them. It seems they have a promising transition year ahead of them.
