Emma – Ar Bharr na dTonnta!

Ba mhaith le Coláiste an Eachréidh comhghairdeas ó chroí a ghabháil le Emma as ucht a cuid éachtanna snámha le linn an tsamhraidh agus aitheantas náisiúnta bainte amach aici faoi thrí Mí Iúil seo chaite.

  • I snámh brollaigh 200m na mban, d’éirigh léi bonn óir náisiúnta a bhuachan in Ollscoil Luimhnigh.
  • I snámh brollaigh 100m na mban, bhain sí amach 5ú áit go náisiúnta sna babhtaí ceannais.
  • I snámh brollaigh 50m na mban, bronnadh bonn cré-umha náisiúnta uirthi.

Is iomaí duais atá buaite ag Emma thar na blianta ó 2013 ar aghaidh agus guímís gach rath uirthi sna blianta amach roimpi agus muid ag súil go gcuirfidh sí go mór leis na gradaim.

Coláiste an Eachréidh would like to take the opportunity to congratulate Emma on achieving national status for swimming achievements during the past summer …a list of achievements to be proud of….

200 Breast Stroke

Won a Gold National Medal in UL July

Silver at the Connaught Schools

Gold medal at Connaught Munsters

Gold at Connaught qualifying gala

100 Breast Stroke

Made the Finals in July for the Nationals(Finished 5/10 finalists in the country)

Gold medal at the Connaught Munsters

Silver medal at the Connaught qualifying gala

50 Breast Stroke

Won a  Bronze National Medal in UL in July

 

Emma is the only girl from her club to be chosen for the Connaught Development squad 2018 and trained in the NAC Blancherdstown with other chosen athletes from different clubs in Connaught.

This shows a list of high achievements to date including 1 x gold  National medal (2018), 2 silver National medals (2013/2017) and 1 bronze National medal (2018).  She also has numerous Connaught and Munster medals to date from other years.

Here’s hoping she keeps up her swimming and builds on these achievements in the coming years. Beir Bua Emma!
